Car & Boat Rental
Explore by carTaxis and ferries are the main mode of public transportation but since the islands are small and safe, the easiest and best way for exploring what each has to offer is to rent a car. In the unlikely event that you lose your way, it won’t be for long; passers by are more than happy to stop and help out with directions. There are a number of car rental agencies on both Tortola and Virgin Gorda with a range of vehicles to suit your needs. Find a car>> |

Explore by boatFerry services run between Tortola, Virgin Gorda and Anegada and between Tortola, Jost Van Dyke and some of the resort islands. If you would like the freedom to explore the many cays and bays or visit the other islands on your own time, you can charter a power boat for a day or more, with some charter companies offering a skippered day sail. The waters of the BVI are renowned for line-of-sight navigation and charter companies will give you a chart briefing to make sure you are aware of any restrictions on anchoring or nautical hazards.
