By air
Flights to the British Virgin Islands depart from San Juan, Puerto Rico; St Thomas, USVI; Antigua and St Martin. The destination airport is the Terrence Lettsome International Airport (code: EIS) on Beef Island, Tortola. Scheduled carriers on this route are American Eagle, Cape Air, and LIAT. There is a small airport in Virgin Gorda (code: VIJ) which accommodates 8-seater planes,

Ferry services run between St Thomas and West End, Tortola; Road Town, Tortola; and Virgin Gorda. The closest ferry terminal to the Cyril E. King airport in St Thomas is at Water Front in Charlotte Amalie – approximately 20 minutes by taxi.
